Planning an End-of-Season Concrete Project in Central Ohio

Prepare photos, project details and scheduling questions before requesting an end-of-season patio or driveway quote from AMGS.

End-of-season planning starts with a clear project request. Whether you are considering a patio, driveway or steps, describe the work you need and the timing you hope for so the discussion covers both scope and availability.

Show the whole project area

Send wide photos of the area and the route used to reach it. Include views of doors, the driveway connection and any steps or landings. Mention existing surfaces you want removed or retained. Photos help start the conversation, but site details may still need to be confirmed in person.

Give the size in the way you know it

You can enter total square feet directly in the AMGS form. For a rectangle, enter length and width. For a circle, measure straight across the center and enter the diameter; the form calculates approximate area. If the shape is irregular or you prefer not to measure, choose “Not sure” and send photos instead.

Separate project type from finish

A patio or driveway describes what is being built. Broom, stamped or smooth describes the surface finish. Include inspiration photos if you have them, and ask which details fit your intended use. List steps separately, including their width if you know it.

Discuss scheduling before making plans

Share your preferred timing and ask about availability, site readiness and how conditions may affect the proposed work. Confirm parking and access arrangements, especially for a driveway project. Ask for project-specific instructions about when the surface can be used; a general guide cannot set that date for your job.

Get the offer in writing

Ask AMGS about current end-of-season discounts. If you have a written quote from a reputable contractor, include it for a comparable-scope price-match or better-price review. Confirmed offers belong in the written AMGS quote. No discount amount, completion date or available slot is confirmed by this guide.
