I’m August. Owner. Craftsman.

Before concrete, I worked in several different fields, but I always wanted to build something of my own. When I got into concrete in 2021, I found work I enjoyed—and a craft where I could turn a plain space into something beautiful. In 2023, I started AMGS Concrete & Construction.

Today, we’re a small company serving Columbus and Central Ohio, and I’m personally on site and hands-on with the work. That’s how I keep the care and attention to detail that I want AMGS to stand for in every project. My focus is quality, not how many jobs we can fit into a week.

Good work starts below the surface.

Removing sod and unstable material, bringing in enough gravel, and using expansion board where needed—the preparation matters just as much as the finished surface. I take the time to get those details right.

Your vision, brought to life.

One of my favorite parts of this work is taking a customer’s rough sketch and turning it into a custom layout. The dimensions, the shapes, the curves—I love bringing those details together to create the space they pictured.
